Buzzi Unicem USA, Mine Planning, Oglesby, Illinois. Client manager for cement manufacturing and 1.3 million ton per year mining client. Managed preparation of a comprehensive mining and reclamation plan that includes geologic reserves estimates and operational changes, a dewatering analysis as the site progresses over the next 100 years. The 1,000 acre site mining plan involved the relocation of a major river and the development of the mine site within and around former underground mining operations. H2H’s plan evaluated the excavation sequence along with the permitting strategy to move the operation forward throughout the 1,000 acre site. The plan involved the evaluation of the previous underground mining adits along with the handling of several million of yards of overburden.
