Orange Water and Sewer Authority (OWASA), Mine Plan and Reserve Analysis, Orange County, North Carolina. H2H staff developed a mining and excavation plan, calculated mineral reserves and reservoir storage potential for the development and expansion of an existing mining operation into an existing reservoir system operated by the County. H2H’s plan effectively utilized the abandoned mine site as a reservoir and demonstrated the value to the county of the expansion of the current mining operation as part of the County’s long term strategy to provide potable water to its customers.
